Nrithya Vibodha
Nrithya Vibodha is a classical dance institute established in 2021 in Singapore. It originates from its parent organization, Nrithyalaya, in Hyderabad. Nrithya Vibodha is a performing arts institute established by Vid. Sheela Bhavani. She has tutored the students in Indian classical dance forms including Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi under the guidance of Dr. Smt. Anuradha Venkatakrishna since 2011. The motive of the institute is to propagate Kuchipudi and its artistic nature. Being a contemporary artist, Sheela Bhavani has travelled to various countries including Ireland, United Kingdom, Australia, UAE and Singapore to promote the art form. Nrithya Vibodha is also teaching students on the digital platform. Vid. Sheela Bhavani has worked under various collaborations and has given numerous online performances to motivate herself and the world during the covid pandemic period. She is conducting online and in-person classes for students from different countries and origins. Nrithya Vibodha Pte. Ltd. was established in the year 2021 in Singapore with an interest to propagate Kuchipudi in Singapore.
The currently running batches are:
1. “Aanandha Vibodha”- for online students.
2. “Harini Vibodha” - for busy mothers and women.
3. “Bala Vibodha” - for 4 years plus kids.
4. “Yuva Vibodha” - for youngsters.
5. “Shreyas Vibodha”- for the senior Citizens here in Singapore.
As a part of Nrithya Vibodha we always strive to maintain creativity with the changing world. Dance is a form of religion and it is celebrated with all colours. We have conducted dance workshops and are open for collaborations with art institutes.
About Nrithyalaya
Nrithyalaya is the parent organisation of Nrithya Vibodha. Nrithyalaya dance academy was established in 1986 in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. Bhavani is associated with Nrithyalaya since the tender age of 5. Nrithyalaya has its branch in Hyderabad since 2012. In Nrithyalaya Dr Anuradha Garu has trained more than 300 students and Bhavani is proud to be part of Nrithyalaya always. Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, and music (Carnatic lessons) are conducted here.

Nrithyalaya has its lineage from many gurus such as Padmashri Vedantham Sathyanaryana Sharma Garu, Shri PVG KRISHNA SHARMA Garu. In Nrithyalaya, we follow the traditional Kuchipudi style which is taken forward to Nrithya Vibodha as well.

Dr Anuradha Garu has learnt music from great legends such as Savithri Garu, late Puvvula Narasimha Garu. Later continued learning music with Rayali Vara Prasad Garu an illustrious disciple of Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna. She has also learnt with Late Dr. PVG Krishna Sarma Garu. Late Kalaimamani, Sri. Ganesh Pillai and with Kalaimamani Sri. Anayampatti. Devotional songs training with Vedavathi Padmavathi Garu and from her Grandmother Late K. Lakshmamma Garu and Late Suri Alamelmanga Garu.
